“Socks in My Pocket” is about those accidental souvenirs of life: the receipt you never meant to keep, the wristband from an event you barely remember, the object that quietly becomes a time capsule. Some paintings begin with an idea. This one began with a pair of bowling socks.
Sometimes, all that’s left is a pair of socks in your pocket—and somehow, that’s enough to remember everything and smile.
